One of my favorite places in my Hometown of Fort Simpson. No other place gives me the joy and happiness when I order a burger. I've had burgers all over the country and nothing compares to the hand pressed patties here. I've had almost everything on the menu and they are all good. The service is on par with a diner and you get to experience a coffee shop experience with prices that aren't too extreme for the north. I've never stayed at the motel but the prices are fair. Best burger in the north and possibly in Canada. Coffee is as good as the service.
Food was great, waitress was a little distracted but kind of made it feel homey, over so great. Fries were amazing!

Alright place staff is nice but no air conditioning in summer and it gets really hot
First night in the NWT so I had a bit of an embarrassing panic when I got quoted a very Northern price - the receptionist was really nice about this (offering to call the other places in town for their rates!!).Of course the room ended up being nothing but clean and comfortable, and service was excellent. It's expensive compared to Alaska Highway motels, but, you know, this isn't the Alaska Highway.
